The Reinbek Family Centre is regarded as the service office for families in Reinbek. It developed form the Neuschönningstedt Family Centre Network. A number of different groups, clubs, individuals and institutions came together a few years ago in Neuschönningstedt, forming the “District Conference”. For some time now, they have been active on behalf of families and the community in the Reinbek district of Neuschönningstedt. These include the AWO Integrated Nursery Eggerskoppel, the Protestant Kindergarten, the AWO Children’s Circle, the Pusteblume Parent’s Initiative, the Gertrud-Lege-Schule (GLS), the AWO Refuge, and the Public All-Day School (OGS), the Child and Youth Meeting Point (KJB), the Adult Education Centre, the Senior Citizen’s Centre, the Residents’ Association, the Refugees’ Initiative, the Immigration Advice Centre, the AWO Local Association, the General Social Service (ASD) and the City Youth Officer. At their regular meetings, they discuss how to make Reinbek-Neuschönningstedt even more attractive for families.
The Reinbek Family Centre supports the network and provides important information for parents and children right across Neuschönningstedt.
